Your treatment plan
How many treatments will I need?
It really depends on how complex your health concern is. Acute health concerns area generally resolved in a few appointments. If your health concern is a chronic condition, the time frame varies, but you can expect 4-5 treatments to begin.
Are Chinese herbs safe to ingest?
Chinese herbs have been used for thousands of years to help people find their health. Many of the formulas I prescribe in the clinic have been used for 2,000 years! As long as the herbs are used correctly, they are safe and very helpful. The herbs I use in the clinic are of the highest quality on the market. I take the greatest possible care in choosing what herbs to carry in the clinic. I am very careful to buy herbs from companies who verify the identity of every herb. I also source organic herbs whenever possible.
Those that are not organic comply (at a minimum) with International GMP (Good Manufacturing Practices) standards, which ensure that herbs are free of sulfur and other harmful preservatives.
Should I call or go online to schedule?
If you are a returning patient online is always best. I've refined this process over the years and it is very user friendly. The website is the clinic "invisible receptionist" and will guide you through the process of scheduling an appointment and filling out the paperwork. If you are new to the clinic, you can fill out this contact form, or give me a call to schedule (530) 615-1888. The ringer is kept off during clinic hours, and all calls are returned within 24 business hours. If you don't get a call from me, it means I had the wrong number or your voicemail box was full. Please call again, or try the email contact form.
Do you accept insurance?
I do accept insurance. If you would like to access your healthcare benefits for acupuncture, please contact the clinic prior to scheduling. I will verify your benefits. To get started, I will need a few pieces of information. Please fill out this form.
